Dr. LaPietra saved my life. I had an Acute ascending Aortic dissection. He operated on me till 4:30 am I lost alot of blood and my lungs failed as well..but I'm here to tell the story!.This team of Doctors and Nurses are the best around. The ICU was so good to my family and so experienced and professional. Step down unit..7th floor was great as well..I'm lucky to have been in the right place at the right time,,,oh..I went to the Mount Sinai Emergency room in Aventura when this all started..thanks to the Doctors ,Nurses,radio... read more

The WORST DOCTORS at Mount Sinai hospital (Miami) Dr. Estelamari Rodriguez and Dr. Marc E. Csete. Why would these doctors delay testing that's critical for treatment? Avoid explaining or being questioned, If you Get upset and demand information and an explanation why?. They Have you removed as the appointed health care surrogate and limit you from being with/visiting your loved one. I never had to deal with such unprofessional, inconsiderate and disrespectful doctors.
