I had an implant with Dr. Chen 20 years ago and I have been so impressed with my previous experience that I chose Dr. Chen again. I had implant surgery with Dr. Chen again in May of 2021. Dr. Chen was professional and guided me through the entire process, always keeping me at ease. I was told by his assistant that Dr. Chen only uses authentic material made in the US, the cost is higher but from my experience well worth paying the extra if you can afford it. They asked my husband to prepay $895 on 4/8 for the upcoming date of service on 5/28. We were told that they will refund us once insurance paid the claim. I called in September to check the status and was shocked that they didn't file the claim! I pushed them to file the claim and insurance paid them three weeks later and every time I called they said they have not received the insurance company's payment and refused to refund me!!!

Dennis Chen and his staff offer patient, knowledgable, and excellent care. I can attest firsthand to the highest levels of service that Dr. Chen provides. Dr. Chen's specificity is clear right when you enter his office - videos educate patients of their dental health and Dr. Chen explains procedures clearly. Dr. Chen took the time to make sure I understood the procedure that I needed and eased my anxiety with his great sense of humor. Horrible practice, stay away!!! – Horrible experience, they lied to me about the insurance that they accept and I ended up footing the entire bill because my insurance company refused to pay since they weren't on the list. I was also told that they are over charging for the exam that was preformed. I also got 2nd and 3rd opinions from other respected periodontists who charged much less and that the quote I was given was outrageously high. I had a gum surgery from one Periodontist, after that, he said that two molars could not be saved even with bone graft and had to removed. A friend refered me to Dr Chen, I had the bone graft with Dr. Chen. , It was not painful and both molars were saved and are doing great. My friend (his wife is my family Dentist) had a similar condition as mine, He actually went to another Periodontist and had bone graft, the result was not good. I refered him to Dr Chen.
