Dr. Chen saved me after another provider misdiagnosed me and had me on the wrong medication. He is caring and compassionate and took the time to get me correctly diagnosed and on the right medication. He has given me a much better quality of life. I began working with Dr. Chen 9 years ago after a manic episode caused a major disruption in my life. He referred me to the perfect therapist and worked with me for several months to find the right prescription for me. As my needs changed over the years, I felt "heard" and respected, something that nowadays doesn't always happen with doctors. Thankfully, I have been stable now for several years. I credit Dr. Chen for getting me to this new lease on life and for monitoring me to keep me there. Thanks, Dr. Chen!
Dr. Chen has been my provider for over 15 years. He is professional, patient, insightful, and extremely knowledgeable about the latest research related to psychiatry. The office staff are great, too.
I have been seeing Dr. Chen for seven years now and he has helped me a lot. There is rarely any significant wait, and he has been able to switch me to medications that are more effective with less side affects. His staff is also always very gracious and patient focused. I recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Chen has been my psychiatrist since 2013 when I first saw him after at least my sixth time in hospitalization because of undiagnosed mental illness. Dr. Chen worked with me for at least a year, if not more, to find the right kind of medications that would help me with my particular disorder. The receptionist in the front Martha has no idea what she is doing. Never returns calls, says you have a copay after insurance advises you do not and overall just a nasty person. If it wasn’t for the fact that I have been seeing Dr Chen for the last 10 years I would find someone else. Great Dr, with garbage staff.
Horrible. Over medicates and abandons patients
He has to be the absolute WORST DOCTOR in FLORIDA !!!! He prescribed medications to my husband without doing a prior evaluation or taking his previous health history into account. Because of this, my husband was being overdosed on depacote and inderal, which led him to be hospitalized for three weeks to detox. He should have been sued for malpractice, and lose his medical license. Totally incompetent !!!!!!
