I was told I was “the professional of me,” that I wasn’t a “problem to be fixed,” and that she was “honored to hold space.” I believed her. A year ago I would have said Chelsea was a great therapist and person. I wish I still believed that. She made a unilateral decision regarding me and my care without discussion, preparing me, or any kind of collaboration or considering my choices or wellbeing. The way it was handled was more devastating than the actual outcome. I experienced a lot of dishonesty and powerlessness instead of working with me on a solution.
