My husband & I went in for a date night. The staff was welcoming. Our waitress was Olivia ( Livy) she was by far thee nicest waitress we have had in RI. ( we live in Indiana) we have been here a few weeks and let me tell you, she was sweet, kind, & helpful. I had special dietary needs and she was so helpful! I did get to talk to her boss and he was thankful as well. So if you are out and about go to Chello's and ask for her:-) wonderful service, wonderful food & wonderful view of the ocean.
Food good as always but a 1 1/2 wait for take out for outside seating to find out they lost our order.. Total wait 2 1/2 hrs before we ate... Disorganized mess...everyone in outside bar should be fired..told us to order in side when they could have taken order. Dirty tables no one picking up old beer bottles we had to clean our own table and that after 30 min sitting and waiting. Offered to comp 50% of bill yep was 50% of food bill not drinks..disingenuous at best
Service was awful!! We sat outside but then decided we wanted to sit inside because it was windy, we didn't even get out drinks yet so we thought it wouldn't of been a big deal. The server was whinning over the fact that we didn't want to stay outside. Overheard severs making snarky comments about customers and I find it weird that the server are allowed to just stand around and fool around while customers are dinning.the server never asked us what we wanted as a side with our sandwhiches and just assumed we both wanted Fren... read more
Worst service ever! 30 minutes waiting for server......then 2 hours later - no food......had to get the manager involved. Waitress COULD have had a wonderful tip...19 of us total...15 of us in the food service industry. .... but when you don't put the order through to the kitchen....shame, shame!
Great quick lunch today. Amy was our server and very pleasant. Crab cakes delicious. Hostess area and staff could be more professional - first impressions are everything.
I highly recommend the Banana Margarita and Ice Cream Sundae combo. Also, I met my husband there. Seriously. He was my waiter.
Closed without properly announcing closing for repairs or whatever they were doing... Wasted gas
