Tried this place on a whim. Wanted to hear some music with dinner and they had a band so let’s check it out. We sat at the bar because we didn’t want to wait and hey, I’m not picky. Nick the bartender was on point! Made great recommendations when we couldn’t decide. Then disaster, a broken full wine glass!!! Our fault completely. First drink of the glass and of the evening and caught the edge of the bar. Well Nick was there in a flash, cleaned up and replaced no fuss except to make sure we were ok and happy! Chef’s Palette is our go to neighborhood restaurant. Great food. The dining room, bar and outside are all great places to eat. The owner, Kathy, and her staff are wonderful. We love that they feature and sell local artists’ works. We are moving and will miss dining here. We highly recommend it!

Never disappointed with the quality of food or service here, always delicious and perfectly prepared, as well as a great atmosphere and location.
Tonight was our first time to CP and were nothing but impressed with every aspect. The food was spectacular, the service awesome.... even the decor and music playing (not live music) were great. So nice to make a reservation somewhere, have a great experience and meal and walk out in just an hour after you arrived completely satisfied. That’s so rare!! We’ll definitely be back!!
Delightful. The food is very good. Attention to detail in the presentation and the flavors work beautifully together. We had the mini crab cakes and the apple fennel slaw was fantastic! I had the flounder. Perfect and light. My husband loved the shrimp and grits. On the lighter side for this dish. Wonderful.
I love this place! My biggest problem is choosing what to order. Never a bad meal! Love the bar for a casual meal and the dining room for a true dining experience. Can’t get enough of Chef’s Palette!
