About this business

A dynamic menu that changes on a daily basis along with a fascinating menu of cocktails awaits you at Chef & the Farmer. Ate at Chef and the Farmer for the first time last Thursday, all the way from California! I ordered the Pork Cheeks and scallops, they were delicious! My husband ordered the pork chop with butter beans, which I could have eaten all of! We waited quite some time (20-25 minutes) between our oysters starter and our mains, but that allowed my husband and I to talk and enjoy our drinks. The food was outstanding and although it took a while to place our order, the service after that was excellent. One thing to prepare for is the noise level - more like a bar than a restaurant. Really only bad thing we encountered was a girl with a mop soaking up the droplets on the vents above our table over our drinks glasses - don’t think this would happen if the health inspectors were in there. Overall experience was excellent!

My husband and I love Chef & The Farmer. We decided to take a day trip and eat there last night. We were fortunate to get a reservation at the last minute. Our server Mallory S was great. The food as always was delicious. The server ask if this was a special occasion to which I replied, everyday is special. We’re thankful for each day.

Business response:

Thanks, Elke for the review! We hope to see you again soon!
