Steak and eggs
This is one of my tried and true spots for happy hour. It does get very crowded and you may have to shark a table. Sometimes they'll let you sit in the front dining area and utilize the happy hour specials, and I believe the caveat is that everyone in your party must get food. The deals are great - burger or pizza, and the supermugs! All great deals. I've been for brunch, and that was also great. This is also a fine place to stop through on a weekend when you are doing a DC walk and just want a break and some beer.

My husband and I came to Chef Geoff's to check out their happy hours special (all day Mondays + Tuesdays) through opentable promotion (complimentary $20 credit if you pay through your mobile phone). First impression - the place smelled like shoes. My husband and I weren't sure if the food was worth sticking around for.
