A real foodies kind of place. Creative menu with broad selection of entrees without being overwhelming. Short ribs were fork-tender and practically fell apart on their own. Nicely paired with jalapeño gratin and sautéed brussel sprouts. Be careful with the drinks. They are interestingly. mixed with unique twists on the old usuals--tasty but strong. Great ambience for both casual dinner with friends and romantic special occasions.
My husband and I first time there on our 12th anniversary and the food was great the salad was good different... now the potato chip appetizer not again but the service was great the atmosphere was wonderful it was a good start!

A week or so ago, I reserved the back room for a work-related dinner for 10. Cheever's staff accidentally double booked the room. I was quickly greeted by the manager. He apologized, had an area arranged for us and comped our table numerous appetizers. As usual, the cocktails were artfully crafted, the food delicious and the service top-notch. Mishaps occur and this one was handled well. For reasons like these, I continue to bring out-of-state colleagues and well as friends and family.
Good food plus good service = satisfied customer.

Took husband for his birthday last night, was both of our first time... Oral orgasm with every bit!!! So delicious I'm still raving today- Best Place in the State hands down!
