This location is infested with gnats. Management doesn’t seem to care. They continue to serve food AND beverages with gnats in/on it. Gnats are flying around the restaurant. It’s absolutely disgusting. This place should be closed and properly cleaned before reopening.
I haven’t visited Cheddars in a few years. I decided to take my mom out for lunch and unfortunately was not the experience I was hoping for. The service was slow mainly because there was a large group sitting in the same section we we’re. When the food arrived it was ok I gave it about a 5-6 on a scale of 10. Food was great as was the service! Only thing that was bothersome was gnats of some sort kept swarming our food and around our table.
My daughter and I go there at least once a week. Food is always good but the Kant/fruit flies will not be seeing me again anytime soon. This is three times in three weeks that I’ve had to swat away these things while I eat. I’ve said something and yet it continues to be a problem. Fix the problem!
Waitress was great. Most food was good. I was dissatisfied with my Bourbon Glazed Salmon not having any glaze. Gnats/fruit flies were swarming all around us, gross!
This is the 2nd (and last) time due to your rude waiter. Servers should LISTEN before walking away from the customer. I tried to give my order as soon as my mother finished with her drink order and the waiter walked away. I even loudly said "we are ready to order". Man-O-War Cheddars..Probably would have been much nicer if we were not fighting gnats during our meal. I mentioned the gnats to our waitress and she said because of the plants there were a lot of gnats. I think she saw my reaction and ask me if I wanted a box so we could take our food home instead. So we did bring home a to go box and got home and there was a gnat in the box! But it was a nice spending time with Colton, even he was ready to leave.
The food was good and our waitress was so delightful. But it was not pleasant dining today. It was so cold I shivered the entire time. All the patrons around us complained how cold the restaurant was. It took away from the experience of our food being good. I also want to add that I was disappointed in some of the changes to the menu. I was looking forward to the triple appetizer plate with chicken tenders, potatoes skins and nachos and they no longer carry this item on their menu. I was very disappointed.
