I had a simple job of relocation a plug from one room to another room. they sent a guy to do the job and he got about halfway done but didnt finish so the sent a different guy a few days later to finish the job. that guy had to completely start over and took twice as long because he didn't knoe what the fisrt guy already knew so it took him 7 hours to complete this simple job and they sent me 2 different invoices for over $1200. I have had the oppurtunity to work with Check Electric for over several years now. Professional, knowledgeable and friendly as someone could hope for. From Amanda "Project Administrator" to Mason "Vice President" and everyone else, this company is the only Electrical contractor I would hire.
Excessive billing. Didn't follow my instructions, which I gave multiple times (to the office and the worker), did more than I asked for, and repeatedly tried to upsell me. They gave a small discount when I complained, but the price was still excessive, IMO. Will use someone else next time.
They tried to charge me $300 to change the covers on 2 outdoor GFI’s, that I really didn’t even need to change But I did so because the electrical problem I thought I was having was really just a switch that had been turned off. The tech was actually very friendly and helpful, and the upgraded GFI’s are great. But the cost is excessive and certainly was not disclosed in advance.
