The beauty alone is worth 5 stars.. some many memories from childhood and with my family now
I do television and radio commercials all over the Southeast and discovered Cheaha State Park years ago after doing King Ford and Gilmore Ford commercials. I have taken my wife and grandchildren there several times. Several years ago while doing the Hot Rod Power Tour, we came in from Mongomery with 5 other cars following us and we lead them to the Park and they loved it. They still want to go back soon.
Beautiful we travel as a family , every year my husband's family oriented from there then traveled here to our hometown now Cullman Alabama. We all go pay our respect for our loved ones who passed . Aboustly amazing view , Great sceneary , wonderful atmosphere we Love love love. Kids run around barefoot .!!!
Always have loved going up on Cheaha..we're very blessed to live so close!
I love this park!! For several years we went for our anniversary and stayed in the "Deluxe" cabin. The last few trips up, we went [tent] camping. It was also our granddaughters first camping trip - she has been hooked ever since !! We're already planning our next trip now that we have a new grandson; we'll make Cheaha HIS first camping trip!!
