Although the Nurse Practitioner and other med staff at his Lehigh Office are amazing, the doctor has no bedside manner. He has given us misinformation regarding the liver transplant procedure and disregards questions concerning health status. Would not recommend to anyone!
He did not take the time to listen to concerns or answer questions. Was very rude and short with me. I felt very uncomfortable because he gave off the impression he didn’t care and I was wasting his time. Horrible bedside manner.
This review is for Doreen Torres who is Dr Chavakula's PA. Ms Torres correctly diagnosed the cause of my pain and gave me a clear treatment program. She also gave me lots of good information on how to improve my colon health. In addition, her patient interaction was Outstanding. One of the best healthcare professionals that I have seen in my 73 years.
He's my current gastro doctor and he gave me really bad vibes at my first appointment... he saw me for like two minutes, gave me sass because I didn't know the exact reason why I was referred to him, and I don't think he ever sent in the prescription for the medication he told me to take. I was happy the second time I visited that I saw a different doctor because I didn't want to deal with his attitude. I'm hoping to find a new gastro ASAP.
Not good. He did the procedure with 3 other men in the room while I was going under anesthesia. Later, when I thought about it, it made me very uncomfortable. Also, his staff failed to turn in insurance paperwork within the required 90 days so insurance refused to pay for it. So, I got a bill for the procedure. Fortunately, because it was their fault, I didn't have to pay it and I didn't. Never heard from them again.

Well what do you say that hasn’t already been said . I spend two minutes with this person after driving an hour to get there he did not even shake my hand then drove an hour home . I got everything done blood work ultrasound sent them to his office and now I can not get in touch with them call failed hanging up never goes to them always screened messages they do not call back . I just called one last try ........ Nope ??. Waste of time he is not the kind of doctor that cares about you beware it’s all about the money ??
He sucks nothing good to say about him very poor additude with patient all about the money
By far the worst doctor in my 52 years. Told me " I don't do this for the money. I'm good at what I do . I'll kick you to the curb if you don't have anything good to say
