Had them process my steer did not get all of my meat back. Didn't get the proper weight back. Probably good with their other services but I wouldn't rely on them to process your own beef.

I recently purchased a quarter of locally raised Angus beef that was processed by Chase’s Chop Shop. The hanging weight was 232.5 lbs, but I received only 98 lbs total, including cardboard boxes, packaging, soup bones, and tallow. That puts the actual meat yield at well below 42%, which is significantly lower than the approximately 140 lbs I was expecting. I have mixed feelings about this processing facility, but overall my experience was positive. Before processing, I spoke with the owner, who came across as knowledgeable, honest, and willing to answer my questions. My wife and I brought in a steer to be processed a few months ago. We completed the cut sheet online and also called the staff to make sure they understood exactly how we wanted the animal processed.
