Very dissapointed night at the Chart House – Arrive at the Chart House around 7:15pm. Was greeted by a very nice valet personnel. Got into the restaurant, headed downstairs for the reserved table. Was expected to be greet by a server or somebody, but no one was there. Found our friends were sitting at the table, we then move on to the table and took our seat. about 15min later the server came and took our orders. Very expensive-Very Average Food. – Hey, we ate there last night on May 5. Service I thought was excellent. Had the Scallops..(they over cooked them-THE GREATEST SCALLOPS SIN). Five tiny scallops over cooked served with Greasy Green Beans..Bon Appetit
Chart House Restaurant – My husband made reservations for our anniversary, as we were married at the Chart House several years ago. I checked reviews on this website the day before our reservation. great food and service wow – The food at this place is the best food in boston prime rib just fell apart in my mouth so tender and for the chowder I tried all over boston this place has the best and for the service I eat out all the time and they by far have the top servers in boston. I dont wait tables any more but if I was to every do it again this would be the place.
Disappointing – I've eaten here many times over the years with some great experiences. My mom arrived from out of town on a wonderful sunny day and mentioned the Chart House for lunch because of the view. Everything except the clam chowder was disappointing. We ordered an Ahi Tuna appetizer that arrived after our meals and was probably the worst I've ever had. Their Caesar Salad was terrible and under dressed. Service was also substandard. Disappointing – I thought this would be good swafood. Wrong. A big disappointment. Seem like nothing was fresh. Only the salad was ok. My fish was dry. Potato was not hot. Server was not paying attention even that the restaurant was not busy. Too bad because I love fish, just not here.
Has lost it's touch. Avoid at all cost – I went to the chart house last evening with my girlfriend and I can promise you we will not be returning. The restaurant was empty so our reservation definitely was not needed. After we were seated it was a good 10 minutes before a server asked if we had been helped. HORRIBLE FOOD AND BAD SERVICE – This place used to be good about 10 years ago but it has really gone down hill. The only thing this has going for it is the view. We went this last Saturday night at 7:30. we ordered 2 apetizers and they were OK. Then we ordered our food. Horrible Service! – My husband and I went to The Chart House this past weekend during downtown's festival of lights. The experience was the worst time we ever had at a restaurant. We pulled up for valet parking, the valet was the rudest person that I have ever met. He snatched the keys from my husband and grumbled that he would have to "find a spot" for our car.
