Absolutely!! I have been going to Dr. Mahanes for almost 20 years. The whole staff is kind, caring, and helpful. They have taken wonderful care of all my kits, and when my two oldest had to be gently let go, the compassion of the staff was so supportive and helpful. They have helped me raise my 15 yo and my two looney 4 yos with patience. My 15 yo has a few black marks in her chart because of her behavior (she can cuss like a sailor, and has a mean bunny kick when getting her nails done) but the staff always treat her kindly... read more

We have been taking our cats to Dr. Mahanes, Stacy, and co. since we moved to Charlottesville in 1993. Animal care is a delicate balance of many factors--best-practices medicine, well-qualified and observant caregivers, and love for the animals themselves as individuals. CCCC has all those things in abundance.
