Pics are 2wks after braiding. The white tips are my hair follicles that came out, even though I removed the 1st two rows of crochet braids soon as I got home. I asked for loose braids because I don’t want to lose edges permanently or receding hairline but too late :( . Baby hairs don’t grow long like the rest of your hair so if braided they will get pulled out slowly while you’re regular grows out. Ruffin did an amazing job on my hair. I’m tender headed and when I told her, she ensured not to hold the braids too tight. I got the boho braids and I love them.
This is the only salon I can trust with my braids hairstyles. They listen, very tender with your hair, and won’t disappoint. They exceeded my expectations. I’ll definitely be back!
I unfortunately had a not so great experience getting my hair braided at this salon. I made my appointment with the owner over text message and explained with a photo of my hair that I wanted my hair washed, blow dried and braided into two braids. I have very long, thick hair that goes past the middle of my back, so washing and blow drying usually takes up most of the time.
