Great fish tacos! Nachos excellent as well. And don't get me started on the ice cream window!
Love the food and atmosphere. Steaks are hand cut. What bar does that? Tacos are great. Hamburgers amazing. Walleye dinner is the best around. People that work there are attentive and always friendly. Steve the bar manager is one of a kind and runs a tight bar. Get to the bar for a sun downer toast. Excellent! Excellent! Bravo for pulling this off and becoming such a neighborhood gem. They are busy but I believe they handle it well. People that go there need to chill out and relax. We frequent Charlies, but we do go when there are less people, or we just stop in for quick drink on our paddleboards. Then no parking issues or we are there very early to paddle and stay for breakfast, which is fantastic. It can get very busy and we have turned away a couple times, but we will always go back becuase we know when to go and enjoy ourselves. Great views, atmosphere, Bloody Marrys, fried pickles, and more. Very glad they are there and they are very nice to us paddlers. Thanks!
Been here a few times and service was ok but this time it was painfully bad! It wasn't even very busy compared to previous visits and we were able to take our pick at tables which is rare. Not only did we wait for drinks, then apps, then main course but when our server was at the table (most often it was someone else bringing our order and apologizing for the wait) he wasn't even slightly friendly!
