The food and drinks are so delicious. I've eaten there twice and have throughly enjoyed it both times.
We have eaten at Charleston On The River several times. The food is really good and the restaurant has a beautiful, modern decor. Love the views of the Fox River and the atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to all family & friends.
We've been to this restaurant many times in past year... the food is tasty...drunken shrimp/appetizer is delish and salmon dishes are wonderful, and you can't go wrong with a burger. We've always had friendly service and mgr walks around to ensure everyone is happy. Sometimes there is entertainment on weekends. Can't wait for warm weather to use the patio!
Great space on the Fox River. If you live in the area you have undoubtedly visited at one time or another. This latest incarnation is a pleasant addition to downtown St. Charles. The menu is simple, but it has something for everyone. The bar is once again comfortable and friendly. Well poured drinks and a good wine list make this a perfect spot for lunch, drinks or dinner. I love all the improvements they've been making and look forward to enjoying their outdoor bar this summer on their deck overlooking the river. I've been here several times recently and often order the Chopped Salmon Salad...my favorite!!! Everyone else in my group of 5 really enjoyed their dinners as well. We will be back often!!
We were a group of 4 women from out of town celebrating a 50th birthday. We chose Charleston on the River, made a reservation several days in advance for 5pm. We arrive on time and are brought to a table for four directly across from the kitchen, we request a table by the windows as no one was seated there, they said no that was reserved for a party of 20, so we look again and see some open tables in that area and asked again and an unfriendly blond woman tells us again that's All reserved for a party if 20.
