Not really a review as I have not been there yet. However, I have to say to the management there, these reviews need to be addressed like fast. Me and my wife were thinking about coming there to try it but after reading so many reviews, I dont know if its worth it. This is what bad reviews do. They drive customers away who have never been there. Whatever the issue is, I would fix it quick. We may still come and try it as our typical restaurant reviews and try the food quality.
The crab cakes were great. Staff friendly. I had fish and chips fish great fries awful like they were cooked and reheated. Didn't even eat. Husband had salmon said it was ok. The server was friendly but we kept having to hunt her down for more drinks and such. Daughter came later and got a salad and again we had to flag down server. Great atmosphere and the Hell or High Watermelon beer is amazing!
It is obvious that the management at Charleston on the River does everything they can to make guests feel welcomed and comfortable. The menu has wonderful options, and the riverside dining will bring us back again and again!
Located in a great area. Saw people sitting outside as we drove up, so we were hopeful. Stood at the front of the restaurant for 5 minutes before anyone attended us. I finally walked up to the bar and asked if we should seat ourselves. The waitress stated someone would be with us shortly. The entire restaurant had maybe 10-15 people - including those seated outside. We were seated outside and proceeded to wait another 10 minutes for drinks.
