I had an excellent first appointment with Dr. Yowell. I chose him because of his expertise in HIFU (High Intensity Frequency Ultrasound). There are only two drs. in Orlando who do the procedure at this time. He was great for me. I was prepared and he explained what I needed to know. Next step is a PET/CT scan and then further discussion. I have a three prostate cancer sites. Gleason 3+3=6 and two 3+4=7. This was a 2nd opinion visit. My urologist only gave me two options. Dr. Yowell is a nice, competent guy, but the practice has a "churn and burn" business model based on 15 minute appointments running an hour or more behind schedule because it simply is unrealistic to provide quality healthcare that way. One time, my opinion, he scheduled me for an uncalled for invasive diagnostic procedure because he was rushing. I cancelled because I couldn't get my questions answered.
