I saw Charles Bongiorno when I was having symptoms suggestive of colon issues in 2016. He performed a colonoscopy and put me on the first line of treatment for ulcerative colitis. I started to experience increasingly severe pain after starting the medication. He minimized my concerns that it could be related to the medication. I asked him if I should go the the ER if it continues. He told me I could, but that they wouldn't find anything if I went.
