I did not have to wait long an appointment. Dr. Loewe listened to my complaints and was fine with my getting another opinion from a gastroenterologist at Tampa General/USF with whom I'd met before & had already scheduled an appointment before starting with Dr. Loewe. His staff, especially Brooke, has been very responsive, kind & easy to work with. I feel well taken care of which I have not found to be the case with other gastroenterologists in Sarasota.
Dr Lowe saved my life. I consulted him for treatment of hepatitis C. To be thorough, he did an ultrasound of my liver and abdomen. He observed a mass on my left kidney and immediately referred me to a urologist. A CT scan showed a very large tumor encompassing my entire kidney. After a radical nephrectomy, it was confirmed that it was a stage 3-4 cancerous tumor. I had no symptoms and had Dr Lowe not been as thorough, the cancer would have eventually spread and taken my life. Thank you Dr Lowe.
Had a colonoscopy and endoscopy. The Doc was excellent at communication before and after the procedure. Next office visit was also a pleasure as he is generous with his time in order to answer all my questions. Five stars from me
Dr. Charles Loewe has been myGastro Physician for the past 15 years since Ihave been living in Sarasota, FL. Dr. Loewe has done procedures on me at the Center for Endoscopy on Tamiami Trail and also at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. At his Center, his staff, facility and services are by far much better than at the SMH hospital. The center is immaculate. I have complete faith in Dr. Loewe. I trust his knowledge and experience. In 2016 he discovered a major problem after reviewing my endoscopy/colonoscopy. If it were not for him, I would not be here today to write this review. Thank you Dr. Loewe, you saved my life.
Dr. Loewe has been my gastroenterologist for many years. He and his staff are A+ and I always feel comfortable. In my opinion, Dr. Loewe is the best bar none and his staff is equally the best.
After suffering from undiagnosed microscopic lymphocytic colitis for 5-10 years and going to other gastroenterologists and having multiple colonoscopies, MRIs, x-rays, CT-scans, I was referred to Dr. Loewe. He diagnosed my problem and started me on a drug therapy. My quality of life is improving.
I tried to have a visit and started calling on 3-15-19 and LM that day and ask for a return call and not to call on a wed. Lm with both tel #'s Christina calls back on a wed on my home phone. I call back again on 3-21-19 and again still no return call. At this point after being with Dr. Loewe for 25 yrs I am seeking another gastrologist office that is more efficient. Sorry
Dr. Loewe is caring and smart. More importantly, he listens to his patients . (At least he listened to me.) He then makes medical decisions based not only on his own opinion but also on the patient's. How wonderful!
