I opted for a non sedation colonoscopy due to my severe phobia of IVs. The colonoscopy performed by Dr. Loewe was awesome ( yes, awesome!) It was not painful, Dr. Loewe explained everything as we went along and checked on me throughout the procedure. The water technique as opposed to air was not remotely uncomfortable. Had my colonoscopy today with Dr. Loewe and the Endoscopy Center. From reception to waking up in recovery it was a great experience. Nurses were friendly and fun and the procedure itself was quick and painless. Very impressed and very satisfied with the service.

I have never left an online review before, but, in this case, I feel compelled to warn prospective patients. If there were anything less than one star, I would choose that. The one experience we had tells it all: My husband was referred to Loewe for an endoscopy after a test indicated age-related narrowing in his throat. I've been a patient of Dr. Loewe's since 2014. I always got the best care from him. However, with an active flare up of ulcerative colitis, and no good outcome over than surgery, Dr. Loewe quickly arranged surgery for me. He was confident this was the right decision for me.
