Getting in to see him was quick and easy. Unfortunately, you can literally die waiting for your test results. I have stomach cancer and required an endoscopy to assess future treatment. That was 3 weeks ago. I was just informed 'the lab is behind and there's nothing we can do to speed up the process. Test results take at least a month.' If I had known that up front I never would stepped foot in Dr. Loewe's office or any of his associates. My oncologist is waiting for those results as well. I have received excellent health care from Dr Loewe. He clearly explained my diagnosis and and treatment options. He prescribed a new form of therapy for IBS, Mahana CBT, and I have already learned so much from it and have gained some new strategies to help with symptoms. I highly recommend Dr Loewe.

Dr Loewe’s staff in the surgery center were fantastic - Other than that - he was extremely rude during initial appointment, there was no follow-up whatsoever on test results, no one calls you back. Billing is awful - they told me $400 - now getting bills for $900.

I opted for a non sedation colonoscopy due to my severe phobia of IVs. The colonoscopy performed by Dr. Loewe was awesome ( yes, awesome!) It was not painful, Dr. Loewe explained everything as we went along and checked on me throughout the procedure. The water technique as opposed to air was not remotely uncomfortable. He was gentle and thorough. I was able to leave right after the procedure with no lingering effects of anesthesia. Highly recommend this procedure with Dr Loewe. Had my colonoscopy today with Dr. Loewe and the Endoscopy Center. From reception to waking up in recovery it was a great experience. Nurses were friendly and fun and the procedure itself was quick and painless. Very impressed and very satisfied with the service.

I have never left an online review before, but, in this case, I feel compelled to warn prospective patients. If there were anything less than one star, I would choose that. The one experience we had tells it all: My husband was referred to Loewe for an endoscopy after a test indicated age-related narrowing in his throat. I was called in at the end of the procedure, and Loewe walked in, never looked at me, and brusquely announced: “Your husband has esophageal cancer. Had my second colonoscopy with Dr. Loewe today (I'm on a 5-year schedule) and I had another very positive experience with this important preventive care procedure.
