Dr. Charles Loewe is a consummate professional whom I highly recommend to anyone who would like to have a colonoscopy. I've been a patient of Dr. Loewe's since 2014. I always got the best care from him. However, with an active flare up of ulcerative colitis, and no good outcome over than surgery, Dr. Loewe quickly arranged surgery for me. He was confident this was the right decision for me. It definitely was the right decision and I've never looked back ... He saved my life ... what more can I say but Thank You Dr. Loewe.

I have known Dr Loewe for years and I trust him completely with my health care needs. He saved my life just last week. I had Cholecystitis and he perform an ERCP with extraction.I feel so much better,Thank you Dr Loewe.

I would not recommend Dr. Loewe. He told me my food sensitivities were caused "by God"and that I should go to Mayo Clinic to have them treated. He also recited the list of GI docs I'd seen in a condescending way as if to say I was untreatable or a patient that couldn't be satisfied.

My primary Dr, who I trust (and I’m mistrustful of doctors for very good reasons) wanted me to see Dr Loewe for my internist (Crohn disease) - I like this doctor. He asked questions, looked at me in the eye and only referred to “the chart” as needed. He communicated CLEARLY a protocol of action to take to help me HEAL ... where most doctors want to only mask through pills. Yes, i’ll be taking the medicine he is suggesting to take ... because he explained it! Great doctor and grateful he is on my Healing Team!

If you're looking for a Gastroenterologist, Dr. Charles Loewe is the best. He is extremely thorough and spends enough time with you to explain everything. He figured out what was wrong with me when 2 other gastro doctors could not. Highly recommend.

He might have a good reputation, and he might even be a great doctor, but he and his staff are terrible at follow-up. I went in for some tests 10 days ago and was told the results would be ready in two days. I have called three times and can only get a machine. Have left three messages. No call back. Terrible.

I am an RN for many years and, in my opinion, Dr. Loewe is the worst physician I have ever encountered. He behaved arrogantly, bragged about himself, and was of ZERO help to me as a new patient. I would caution anyone who is looking for a gastroenterologist to steer clear of Dr. Loewe! When I tried to get a different gastroenterologist, I was unable to see any MDs in Florida Digestive Health Specialists' system without going through a bureaucratic approval process because of FDHS' apparent monopoly of approximately 24 "care ... read more
