I'll repeat what someone else said. My kids have been going to his practice for 6 years. When it comes to Dr Charles, it's not a practice anymore, he's THERE. Busy guy, seems rushed at times but still takes the time to get to the point of the matter and take care of my kids. As a doctor, he has his opinions and he feels strongly about them. Outstanding doc that we've had since 1994 for the past 16 years. Only prescribes antiobiotics as needed, which is what more doctors should do. Very direct, calls it like it is, which I like. I recall when I was a new Mom asking a question about my infant son, Doc responded with a little sarcasm to which I responded "that's why you're the doctor and I'm the new Mom asking for advice". I have been with Dr. Geneslaw since my kids were born. 17 years. I trust him 100%. Now that the kids are teenagers the transition he makes with them is amazing. The kids love talking to him. He is very in touch with the world the kids live in and he gives them the information they need. I have a great relationship with my kids we talk about everything, but sometimes when it comes from a doctor, they listen more!
Dr. Geneslaw is a very personable caring physician. He is straight to the point and listents to his patients and parent's concerns. Yes, he may be abrupt, but is an EXCELLENT physician with nothing but the best care in mind. Antibiotics are prescribed AS NEEDED and not willy nilly. Teenagers feel comfortable confiding in him if they don't w/their parents, and he is 100% for patient confidentiality. Great physician. Trust him completely. He isn't warm and fuzzy, he is straight to the point. I must be oblivious, because I don't see where he is arrogant. He just knows what he is doing. My son has been treated by him for sinus infections, so he must believe in them. He is wonderful,I would recommend him with out hesitation.
Dr. Geneslaw Is a great Dr. He is very concerned and attentive. He may not be all "oh poor baby" with your child BUT he will make sure your child is taken care of which is what I am looking for in a doctor my my children!
I went to this doctor up until the day they told me I had to change to an adult doctor. Dr. Geneslaw knows what's going on with your kids and if you live in a plastic bubble of a perfect world, he's not the doctor for you. He will tell you how it is and is very blunt and honest, which can be mistaken for arrogance. Like someone stated before, he's not going to hold your hand but if you want to be in GREAT care, he's an excellent doctor.
Best pediatrician ever. Confidence can sometimes be construed as arrogance. I trust my childrens lives with him.
he was very short and outright mean to one of my sons. not understanding and condesending. my kids had chronic strep and after a while his reception people kept saying we cannot get the kids in for an appointment. switched doctors two of the kids had tonsils out and now none get strep throat. he is more interested at times talking to some parents about sports and such.
