RecommendedI had lunch at Char today. Chad was the best server and checked on our table often. He had a great personality. The fried green tomatoes and chicken were delicious! I can’t wait to visit again.

Small catfish and not enough pieces. Hushpuppies were packy and not a good flavor. Sides were just ok for the overall price.Service was great. Improvement on food including quantity of entrees is needed.

The fried chicken on the blue plate is the best in Jackson!!!! Love the flavor and somehow, it's not greasy, soooo good!!! Also, try the spinach crisps, steaks and burgers. The Mimosas are made with freshly squeezed orange juice as well. Great service and great food!

Overall great experience! We decided to visit as a last minute decision. As a foodie this place was reccommended by a local. Ambiance was awesome with very low lighting. The place is quite big for a fine dining place. Service was spot on. We ordered marinated crab claws for an appitizer and it was up to par. The aged ribeye was wonderful. I added the Char salad with Come back dressing. It was a delight. The service was quick and staff was friendly. They were very attentive. I will go back. I will order the ribeye again and again.
