We have been a fan of Char but our visit yesterday lacked the quality that Char means to us. We started off with a cup of gumbo and shrimp bisque. Those two items were the best part of our meal. My wife and I had a steak, garlic potatoes and a side salad each. We ordered a side of green beans. Let’s start with the beans. Someone opened a can of great value beans and cooked them very quickly. The steaks were lackluster. I just don’t know what happened. The quality was way off. We hope to try them again but it will be a while.

Our first visit to Char was beyond our expectations! Truly! My husbands job brought us to the area for a few months and Sunday the day of our visit was actually our 41st Anniversary. Chad was our server and he made it feel very special. Looking forward to more yummy dishes and visits to Char.
