me my wife came in on September 4th not many people which what were kinda looking for i never been there so I wanted try very disappointing service one wife had a sprite so she drink first one so we wait 6 or 7min trying get our servers attention finally he came by looked like he had 2 tables us and another folks so ordered cheese sticks they were just at point being cooked wife ordered potatoe soup came out cold horrible so at this time serve had taken the sprite for refill i ask were it was he said i forgot as he was on hi... read more
RecommendedMy husband, myself, and my parents came to Char tonight for my birthday. All 4 of our entrees were AMAZING and our server Joe was very attentive and personable. Definitely recommend!
Wife and I had dinner tonight prime rib was outstanding, asparagus was incredible and our waiter Solon was excellent with definitely be back, highly recommend
I like char the reason why is the really nice and helpful The waitresses we had was extremely nice and the food was great I recommend it to anyone.
Best hamburgers in town!
I could barely hear my waiter over the noise. I asked for a booth and they refused to seat me in one even though there was an empty one available. Waiter seemed to have his mind someplace else. If I am paying this much for food I would prefer to sit where I asked and be able to see. they sat us in the sun and I could barely see my husband's face. will not be back. employees care less about the customers and only care about the pay
When we tried the food, I ordered a chicken breast which was bland, dry and tough with a potato side dish, there was nothing else on the plate, no veg, no garnish. The dish, in my opinion, was indicative of a chef who did not care about the quality of the food that was being served. We have not been back.
Great first experience! We moved to Cookeville last July and just now got around to giving Char a try. I had the seafood platter and they let me substitute the tuna for mahi-mahi and my husband asked for sautéed onions on his steak, they didn’t mind our picky requests. 😊 Service was efficient. Bathrooms were clean. We will go back again for sure!!
