BEWARE - BEWARE!!! My wife visited the ER after falling and hitting her head. Treatment was prompt and everything went well with the visit. Then we got the bill. While the hospital was in network and accepted our medical insurance (United Health) the ER physician is not a participating physician and therefore billed us an enormous amount for APPROXIMATELY 10 MINUTES OF SERVICE! Been here 4 hours so far. I peed in a cup and have yet to see a Dr. I'm in a small cold room with no call bell. This is ridiculous. Thought you'd be better than conemaugh for sure. But your just as shitty

I had a surgical procedure last Monday by Dr Moon and Dr Marley. I cannot say enough great things about the staff at Alleghany Surgical!! The nurses on Wing 3 and the entire Windber Medical Center were amazing!!

My husband was feeling very sick the past few weeks and finally went to the ER after some convincing. The staff and Dr Cornish were very helpful and happy to help us. I have to say Windber ER is super convenient and easy to work with. No one likes to go to the doctor or the ER for that matter but when everyone is this helpful it makes its a little easer. Thanks windber ER!!
