Terrible Service and questionable product. – I purchased a home from a local builder in which Champion provided the windows. A window broke without impact or any iniating factor and I contacted Champion service department, after I was informed that I was no longer under warranty, I found the customer service from the service end, manager -George, to the craftmanship of the window severely wanting. GREAT WINDOWS-NOT SO GREAT INSTALLATION – I JUST HAD MY HOUSE BUILT THIS SUMMER OF 2008, AND I HAVE CHAMPION DOUBLE PANED VINYL WINDOWS INSTALLED. I WAS TOLD THAT THESE WINDOWS HOLD UP WELL IN HIGH WINDS. WELL AFTER HURRICANE PASSED THROUGH THE HOUSTON AREA I AM A FIRM BELEIVER THAT THIS IS DEFINITELY TRUE. THE ONLY ISSUE I HAVE WITH MY WINDOWS IS THE INSTALLATION. SIX OUT OF NINE WINDOWS LEAKED FROM POOR INSTALLATION PROCEDURES BY THE PEOPLE WHO INSTALLED THEM.
