Champa Thai and Sushi's cuisine reflects our home province in Northern Thailand. It's different than other parts of Thailand because of our shared borders with the countries of Laos and Myanmar. The cuisine of this region shows heavy influences from each of these bordering nations. This adds a variety that makes our specialty dishes unique.

Excellent food, mediocre service – I eat often at this restaurant. I usually order the Spicey Thai Basil Beef or the Red Curry Chicken. Both of these dishes are fantastic. I have tried several of the other dishes and they are also very good. The Pad Thai is good too. My wife loves the Sushi here. I think the service could improve, but it has not made my experience at Champa unpleasant. However, we have noticed that the workers will take a cigarette break at go immediately back to working without washing their hands.
BAD svc; Best sushi in Triangle (inconsistent!) – To-go sushi orders w/multiple sushi rolls are usually missing something (70% of the time), so check your bag. Service is haughty and rude. Management is aloof, rude, and seems bothered by your presence. I continue to go back b/c sushi is BEST I've ever had, though quality is INCONSISTENT. User review by kjeffers1 – I'm surprised at some of the comments regarding this restaurant. My husband and I go there at least once a week and always receive excellent service and food quality. I think they have some of the best sushi I've ever eaten, and their prices are comparable to other sushi houses we've tried. They are by far my favorite sushi restaurant and I drive over 25 miles just to go there.
The Spider Roll and Crunchy Roll are AWESOME! – I went there on a date. The waiter was funny, informative and helpful! The food was great and the interior was very pleasant. In fact we went there for a second time.
Food ok, BAD SERVICE – The Thai food was ok, I had better and less inexpensive. We stood around for a while and none of the staff acknowledged us so we sat ourselves. The restaurant was pretty chilly, they need better insulated doors or something. The food takes forever to come out. There sushi is pretty good and that's really the only good thing. So overall food is ok, sushi pretty good, price is pretty high when u can go somewhere else for better tasting food, service was very poor.
DO NOT EAT HERE!! – My friend and I received very bad service at this restaurant. Upon entering we were told rather coldly to sit by the window. After some time we noticed some of the wait staff staring at us, yet noone came to take our drink order. A short time later after this same behavior continued and noticing that the prices were somewhat expensive we decided that enough was enough so we left.
Excellent Pad Thai !! – I've eaten here three times. Each time the food has had excellent flavor. Service was good. Nice semi-causual place to dine.
Unique and Trendy – Must eat here! Wide selection of appetizers, reasonably priced martini specials, and AWESOME THAI FOOD distinguish Champa from the rest. Sushi selection is huge and comes out fresh. Tom Kha soup, while it may cost $13, and seem on the high side, is served in a volcano bowl with a side of rice and would easily serve two people- a meal itself! They Must Be Joking – My wife and I walked in and were ignored, so we helped ourselves to a peak at the menu. I always order the Tom Kha soup to start, but when we saw it was priced at $13 we immediately left. I can't comment on the food itself, but I am completely certain that their soup isn't three times as good as the average, which it would need to be at that price!
