RecommendedAbsolute gem in NEP! Celebrated my mom’s birthday here last night. The drinks were delicious and the food was scrumptious (as always) but the owner and staff took the time to add special celebratory details that made this experience truly magical! Always a favorite of mine for years. Tucked away in Grant neighborhood. Great food and drinks. Owner and servers are wonderful. Outdoor patio is fantastic- great place to spend an evening.
I’ve been here 3 times, once 5 years ago, once last December for a Office holiday dinner, and last night. The first time was ok, service was iffy, one guy playing bartender/server and the chef/owner running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Then last year during the holidays it was great, food was amazing, drinks were fun, service was great, despite only having one bartender/server and the chef/owner again. ...20 years of doing something is increasingly rare these days. doing it spot on great is commendable. The staff is awesome and the owner head chef has a real charm. it's nice to see someone succeed doing what they love,both in great food and all around phenomenal presentation.
