We have used Chambers Theory to manage our rental property in Sterling VA for approximately three years. We had good service for two years, but since January 2025 the service has been terrible. The renters moved out in June and Chambers did nothing for a solid month. The renters did extensive damage resulting in thousands in repairs which took another month. If you look closely, most of the good reviews are from owners. Im echoing some of the negative reviews from the tenant side. BL, this company only cares about owner interests. The Good: -The company does a move-in inspection report completed before move in. We had to move in sight unseen for a military PCS so this was great. - the sub contractors that actually do the work are competent and professional. What a hot mess. Is a zero star rating an option? I had reached out looking for a property manager to help perform minor cosmetic renovations with over one month to prepare on my townhouse in Clarendon. The manager assigned to me could not come up with a schedule for when the contractors would be in the place. I asked her many times for when I could expect to have people in my home - she couldn’t even manage to get the basic communications right. Avoid this rental if you value comfort or timely maintenance. My fiancé and I rented a property on Donovan Drive in Alexandria last March. We had multiple issues with delayed repairs, including a 10-day period without air conditioning during a severe summer heatwave.
