Great customer service – The Best in Town!!! That's it. The only reason I joined City Search was to give this review. Visit Chamas ASAP.
I really Enjoyed – The food is delicious and the people are courteous and make you feel very comfortable. I really enjoy the place.
The Best Brazilian place in the Triangle – If you want authentic Brazilian Food you need to go to Chamas. Once you have eaten there you will realize there is absolutely non-comparison possible to others. The chefs at Chamas are Brazilian and the place is owned and operated by two Brazilian ladies. Check it out for yourself!
Pig out!!! (but watch your back if you want the filet mignon) – This place's value proposition is simple. Pay 30 whatever dollars, and eat as much meat as you like. ...and it's a good value prop... Decent Brazilian wines are offered at exceptional prices (a bottle of good Syrah was $40). I had only 1 issue during my visit - the "system" is supposed to be, "eat what you want, as much as you want". the waiters purposely bring filet mignon first, and they will not bring that by again, unless you ask. and when i asked, the waite... read more
Wonderful Selection on Salad Bar – This restaurant is wonderful! I have been for lunch and dinner and both times was very impressed. Nice atmosphere, wait staff very attentive and friendly. If you don't want the meat the salad bar has a very impressive selection. Anything a vegetarian could ask for. Very affordable for lunch.
Lunch is very affordable – I went to Chamas for lunch last Friday and had a FANTASTIC time with my 4 children. We had the salad bar and hot buffet. Everything was wonderful for an incredible price. Lunch prices are very affordable. The staff was very warm and friendly. We will be back!
Another good experience – Took a friend who'd never been to Chamas last weekend, 6th time I've been. Very satisfied again, friend was very impressed and glad to learn about Chamas. The appetizer bar is amazing with such a variety of flavors. The meats are very good, some better than others depending on your own preference, but for me, the tastes are interesting and worth sampling the different types. Memorable Evening – Last night was our first, but certainly not the last visit to Chamas. The salad bar and meats were delectable and beautifully presented. The wine suggested by Chamas staff was a perfect accompaniment to our dinner selections. While we enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere, the servers were attentive without being intrusive. We never felt rushed. And, the surprise birthday cake was, well, a surprise. Thank you for a memorable evening.
Quantity not quality – Maybe it's just me, but I would rather have a normal portion of really good steak than an obscene amount of low grade, overcooked meat. Honestly, it's a bit of a blur recalling exactly which cut was what, but there seemed to be a consistant theme: Gristly, overcooked, reeking of old garlic.
