I have boarded my pups with them twice. I do not like how big dogs are treated in most city limit kennels. Mine are about 60 and 80 lbs. Chalquest is like a home away from home; quiet, personal, and professional. The first visit one pup got sick but we picked him up with meds, a vet check, and diagnosis. Can't find care like that everywhere!
Wow! I can't say enough about Chalquest Kennels! I boarded my two dogs with them recently for the first time, and I was blown away by the love and care that Lynne and Russ gave my pups. The kennels and runs were spotless. The property play areas are spacious and secure. Both Lynn and Russ greeted us on arrival and took the time to talk with me while allowing my dogs to explore. We have used chalquest kennels twice now and they have have been so incredibly kind! I recently found out that I have to be extra careful with physical activity as I'm 22 weeks pregnant, and asked if they would be sure that my 125 pound bull mastiff got a little extra attention when it came to bath time! They did it, and I was so, so grateful! Thank you so much for taking care of my pups!
I loved boarding my puppy here. They were able to fit us in on a holiday weekend and our puppy came home happy!! We will definitely be making this Beckley's home away from home.
Our pups were very taken care and seemed to be very happy during their stay. I definitely recommend! Owners were very sweet and genuinely care for the dogs under their supervision.
When we picked our dog up from Chalquest after her first stay, the owner made a remark about her obsession with tennis balls. We hadn't sent her with any, hadn't told him about it...we just knew that meant he had spent plenty of time playing with our pup! She loves it every time and we love it because we know she's safe and well cared for.
These folks have dedicated their lives to the care and training of dogs. My pup, who is treated like a family member, recently stayed three nights at the kennel and I was so pleased with his care. They love dogs! Highest recommendation!
