This was Mocha's 1st time in a kennel, I spoke with Lynne and Russ and could feel their love of animals and excitement to meet her over the phone. We were nervous but Mocha looked happy and healthy in her picture playing in the yard, she has had no formal training and is really just a big, clumsy, scaredy cat and knew they had lots of experience with large breeds...We ran into travel issues on our way home and Lynne and Russ were so accommodating and supportive. My dog seemed happy and well fed when I picked up. Great price and good care.
Whenever I pull up to Chalquest my pups jump out of the car and run straight to the door, tails wagging. Russ and Lynne are very knowledgable about all dog breeds and handling dogs of different temperaments (one of my dogs is very fearful of strangers and they earned his trust). Dogs get their own playtime daily and when they stay a certain number of days get a bath before pickup which is great! Our Buddy has been a frequent visitor and always comes home freshly bathed ....love that detail!
The outside area is perfect for dogs who love to run! Plenty of TLC, for dogs and owners. My girl has stayed with them 6 times! She can't wait to return!
