RecommendedWe are from NY and were visiting family in Chesapeake. We brought our dog down with us and boarded him at ChalQuest Kennels for 2 days. It is a great place and the owners were wonderful. Our dog wasn't acting 100% before we dropped him off so I was a little nervous. They eased my nerves by texting me the next morning and letting me know how our puppy was doing. I would highly recommend them and plan to board there again next time we head to VA.
left our 2 dogs there while we were out of the country for two weeks. loved the FB updates to know they were doing great. So glad we got a recommendation from a friend about you. We have already booked their next stay.

I am very happy with chalquest kennels. Staff is very sweet and truly loves dogs. Being able to text and get updates is a huge plus when leaving your dogs with someone.
We have been taking our pups to Chalquest for 30 years and when Paul and Lucy sold to Russ and Lynn there was trepidation and worry. Now Lynn and Russ sold to Nivaldo and Dani and again we had our worries since we were leaving Waldo and Kate for a 5 week stay. We needn't have been concerned. Dani did a fabulous job keeping us updated with e-mails and pics. Our pups looked fabulous when we returned. well groomed and nails clipped. we can only recommend Chalquest to all. Good job guys. I've been taking my dog to Chalquest for years and we both have always loved it. For our most recent visit, the kennel was under its new ownership. I was impressed by Dani's communication (texts! Facebook!). She even gave my pup some special attention and snuggles. I was sad to see Russ and Lynne go, but I'm glad Chalquest is in capable hands!
I never have to feel worried dropping Ranger off here! Lynne and Russ are always friendly and so excited to see Ranger. Hands down, best kennel; I would only go here!
