I'd rather live in a tent on land I own than a mobile home on rented land.

After years of being able to grow plants in containers on our rental property we were warned under threats of "court" that Chain O'Lakes was making available areas located at a considersble distance with no easy access to water for our growing pleasure. This location was located on the leach field or sewage field. Further, this location is next door to a cemetery. Many declined this idea. Disgusting.

Neighbor, Lou Hensley, on our tiny property line, chain smoking 24/7 hiding behind this free-flapping shade which hit me in the head while mowing. Actually drew blood. Owners said "nothing they can do."

WARNING!! Forced out. Eighty year old owners not living up to lease agreement. Neighbor, Lou Hensley, burned my grass by throwing poison on it because wouldn't trim around her car port on our property line. Lou Hensley set up a smoker in her driveway 15 feet from my open front door because I did not want chain smoking in in my yard. Hecklers screamed at me "wonder how she will like this smoke." Bullies. Lost the use of the only yard had. Owner came to my door and stated I should close this side of home and live on ... read more

Basically an old used car lot. Your home title is from the DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles). By law, you cannot move an older home. In short, you're stuck. Further, they have raised the land rent to $800-$900 per month and stick you with the yearly property tax. You have the responsibility of mowing, leaf removal and yard upkeep and not even allowed to grow any vegetables on threat of being taken to court. Have the written threats to prove it. Stay away if you are smart.

Prior to this obnoxious neighbor hanging huge chimes in retaliation, she hung this free-flyng shade on the property line 15 feet from my kitchen windows and would physically hit me while wildly flapping 8 feet over my yard. All this to chain smoke into my home. These park owners did nothing.
