Dr. Patton had preformed 2 surgeries on me in the past 2 years 1st on S 1/ L 5 and 2nd on T 11 / T 12 he is an amazing, kind , wonderful Doctor ! I would highly recommend him and his staff are very nice and professional.
In Aug 2017, I experienced debilitating nerve pain in my lower back & leg with no relief. Four months later, after exhausting all other medical alternatives, I underwent surgery by Dr. Patton. Today, I’ve improved considerably and feel stronger every day. I urge anyone who suffers from unbearable back pain to seek treatment from him and his team. They were well-informed and kind. I am forever indebted to Dr. Patton for relieving me of my suffering and giving me my quality of life back.
I have been seeing Dr. Patton and his PA Kristen Davis for nearly 2 years and after a considerable amount of time avoiding surgery (he suggests it as a last recourse) underwent a L3-L4 spinal fusion and a lot of stenosis clearing. I honestly think that Dr. Patton and Kristen are the best medical team I have ever worked with, caring and willing to spend time with you. The surgery (long and complicated because of my spine issues was very successful and 6 months out I am feeling 100% better.
Having just been diagnosed with a pinched nerve and having both pain and weakness in my arm I was very concerned. I found Dr Patton and in general his office to be compassionate and professional. He sat with me in a very calm and unhurried manner and made sure all my questions were addressed. Having been in the medical field myself for 35 years I find this especially refreshing considering where the marketplace is driving medicine today.

I recently had a lumbar laminectomy and fusion done by Dr. Patton at the Anne Arundel Medical Center. The results were astounding and I would highly recommend Dr. Patton for this type of surgery. He is a consummate professional and a very caring human being. He is a young doctor who is up on all the latest techniques. Dr. Patton takes good care of his patients and visited me at least twice a day while I was in the hospital. He is a super surgeon.
Out of frustration with a current treatment plan for my diagnosis of spinal stenosis and a herniated disc, I began searching the Internet for other treatment options. Dr. Patton's name surfaced in our search. I had an appointment with Dr. Patton in just a few days after calling his office. Within ten days I was in the operating room receiving the preferred treatment for my diagnosis. I awoke from anesthesia without pain. I thank Dr. Patton. He is skilled, kind, down to earth and approachable.
Dr. Patton was able to give me freedom from pain. He performed surgery for spinal stenosis. He and his staff were clear in their presentation of what the problem was and how he would approach the repair. He listened to me when I had questions and clearly answered all of my concerns.
From the moment Dr. Verkin suggested I see Dr. Patton I knew I was in great hands! Dr. Patton laid out all my options and did not push me to make a decision ASAP! Once I made it with his help, best decision I could have made! Best surgeon also.
Dr. Patton is one of the most understanding & caring physicians I have ever met. I would highly recommend him.
