I would totally recommend Dr Patton. Love Dr Patton he is great!!! He explains every thing and answers any questions you may have. He takes his time and you can tell he is listening to you. I had surgery (Feb 27th) on L6 & 7 for right hand weakness, arm and three finger numbness. The strength in my hand came back immediately and the numbness went away over the following weeks. I feel great and had my last visit with Dr Patton 2 days ago.

LOVE Dr. Patton. I had a herniated disc that hit my sciatic nerve. I was actually told by another spine specialist that he is one of the top spine surgeons in the area. He explained everything to me. Guided me through the reasons why he recommended the surgery, 2 weeks after post... I was pain free and driving. Back to my regular activities and working out several weeks after that. Dr. Patton is an excellent surgeon and I would highly recommend him to my family and friends. He performed a laminectomy and spinal fusion on my back on April 10, 2019. This took care of the sciatica pain running down my leg. His staff is easily reached and helpful. Sarah Hall was also excellent.

Caring and concerned, I didn't feel like he was rushing through my appointments. And my surgery completely cured my sciatic pain!
Dr Patton fixed a herniated disk in my back. As soon as I woke up from surgery the pain was gone and I am completely recovered. I have my life back!! I suffered for 8 months with severe pain and loss of sleep. When all other treatment failed I researched doctors and chose Dr Patton. Dr Patton was very nice and answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend Dr Patton, the Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Office and Anne Arundel Medical Hospital.
I appreciated Dr. Patton's thoroughness in reviewing the MRI images with me, explaining what was going on in my spine, and discussing treatment options. He was very thorough and attentive.
Dr. Patton was extremely personable and explained everything in advance. The post-surgical experience was miraculous. I went from having crippling sciatica to returning to normal functioning overnight.
Three years ago I could barely walk and had intractable pain. How thankful I am to Dr. Patton and his team. He gave my life back to me. I can't thank him enough. It brings tears to my eyes when I realize what I almost lost and the gift he gave to me of being able to once again stand without pain, go to a game with my grand daughter, dance with my husband, travel to see family, hug, able to go to the store, normal life. Remember, He is amazing but you must do your part and work hard at rehab!
