Dr. Spangler, the nurses and entire staff were great during my procedure. They all were constantly asking if I had any questions and how I was doing in a caring and professional way.
Dr. Spangler is the kindest and most professional GI doctor you could have on your side. I have been dealing with a serious case of GERD and was recommended for a surgical procedure to help fix it. He had referred me to a general surgeon in which their staff took a year to try and get the procedure approved. Dr. Spangler was excellent, and so was the whole GI Partners staff. My procedure went more quickly than I expected and every step of the process was explained well. Dr. Spangler took the time to answer any and all of my questions. The staff made sure I was comfortable and kept me informed every step of the way.

Dr Spangler is the best dr I have ever had! He not only takes time and actually listens to everything you have to say, he is extremely attentive and empathetic. I’ve never felt so comfortable and confident in a dr, and I have seen many!
I've had two procedures now at Dr. Spangler's office (GI Partners). The entire staff from reception to nursing to the anesthesiologist and Dr. Spangler are efficient, informative and caring. They called me after the procedure to check on how I was feeling and encouraged me to call with any questions. I highly recommend this physician!
Dr. Spangler listens, explains, taking his time going over the details with you. I've seen many gastro physicians through my years and he has been the most knowledgable and thorough. I highly reccomend Dr. SPANGLER. The office in Barrington is a well oiled machine with much care and compassion. I wouldn't go anyware elese.
Friendly, competent and confident with and way way of explaining issues and treatment options. Measured course of treatment and response to symptoms which I appreciate.
After living for some time w bowels issue I did research n chose Dr. Spangler. I was impressed w his knowledge, his pstience n the reassurance he provided to get solution. Tests n procedure were ordered timely. In two weeks it was narrowed down n meds were started. Thank u Dr. Spangler for allowing me to start a new year w this solved. He is the go to doctor n my health blessing.
