Dr. Spangler and the entire staff at GI Partners of Illinois in Barrington were warm, caring, personable and professional. I felt I was in good hands from the moment I stepped into the office. Thanks to everyone for making my appointment safe and pleasant.
Dr. Sapngler, his anesthesiologist, Kurt, nurses Kathi & Holly are always so nice to to me whenever I have been to the office for care.

The quality and professionalism of Dr. Spangler and the staff was 5 star quality. It is the best I have ever been treated in a medical facility.
I had a colonoscopy done at GI Partners in Barrington by Dr Spangler. Cannot say enough about the Doctor and the whole staff. They answered all of my questions before and after the procedure, they made me feel very much at ease from the time I was making the appointment until I walked out the door after the procedure. Did not like his "bedside" manner. As a spouse and caregiver of the patient I asked Dr. Spangler what was the "next step". His reply was "I JUST went over all of that"...spoken in a very condescending manner. He obviously had not communicated very well, or I wouldn't have asked the question. His response made me feel very stupid...and I am actually well educated and very aware of medical treatments, etc. I almost wondered if the response was meant to be his idea of a joke...if that was the case, it "fell flat"...either way t... read more
i was so appreciative for lois who was able to take my arthritis pain away since i couldn't take meds for many days prior to procedure. joan and alicia were very comforting and helpful. everyone was so nice. dr. spangler was wonderful informative and positive and kind. made me feel comfortable and not nervous.
Dr. Spangler and is team are amazing. I’ve been beyond impressed with the kindness, communication, and professionalism I’ve been treated with since I’ve made my first appointment. I had my first EGD done and was nervous, but Dr. Spangler and his team put me at ease.
