I've seen Dr Spangler for a endoscopy and colonoscopy. Both his office, nurses and overall team were fantastic. At the Lake Barrington location they have a very efficient process to get you in and our quickly, I've always been seen close to my appt time and never felt as if I wasn't the most important person in the building.

Dr. Spangler and his entire team, including Alicia and Kathi are all great. I could not have had a more positive experience. I was treated in a professional, courteous, and friendly manner. Everything to be done was explained clearly and concisely. Dr. Spangler talked to me before and after procedure and all questions were answered. Then entire team including Margie, Joan, Lois, Patti and Dr. Spangler made me comfortable and at ease the entire time. Communication was excellent especially considering my one-sided deafness. Dr. Spangler personally discussed the outcome and what to expect next with my wife which put her mind to rest as well. All in all a great experience.

GREAT experience with Dr Spangler and the entire staff at GI Partners of IL. Had colonoscopy (1st one) and all went really well, for that type of thing... Thanks for making it all so comfortable and effortless. Your entire staff were friendly and helpful, with good senses of humor, as I needed this.

I was concerned about having the procedure done and Dr. Spangler met with me in advance to answer all my questions. The day for my colonoscopy was just 1 week after his office had been closed for 5 weeks weeks for covid-19. The office had to revamp all their procedures to deal with the virus safely. Explained the procedure prior. Dr. Spangler had a nice bedside manner and even after the procedure he came to check on me and inform me of the findings. Margie and Moira made me feel comfortable. They walked me through everything and made sure I was cared for from the time I got there to the time I left. They really care about what they do and it shows!! Keep up the good work!

The entire visit went very smoothly. Dr. Spangler went over the procedure thoroughly before he began. The RN, Moira also made me feel very comfortable from the minute I arrived through to my release.

Outstanding experience from start to finish. The office is immaculate and professional. My nurses (Margie and Moira) were personable, kind, caring and very helpful. Dr. Spangler is very kind, personable and knowledgeable and everything a patient expects from a healthcare professional. Can’t say enough nice things about the staff and facilities.
