So glad I found this page. I am 41 yrs old and have mild cp that effects my left arm and leg. This is the first time I have found a place where others have shared similar stories as mine.

I have a son who was born at 24 weeks weighing 2lbs2oz he had a severe hemorrhage on his brain causing his vessels to burst. He has a shunt to drain the fluids he wasn't expected to live past 1 but he his now 10

So happy I found this page. My son is 6 and has spastic quad cp and sometime it's just nice to wee we aren't alone! Thanks for making this page!!!! As he gets older and more aware we have somewhere to turn so show him he's NOT alone!!!!!

Very positive page. My son a adult now has CP Spastic Deplegia and he was never treated any different. Us as parents when they are young need to stand up for them be involved in their IEP at school and stand up for them. Do not assume the IEP Is correct you know what your child can do, challenge it.. Love your child always!!
