Couldn't check in until 5:00pm, then had the worst time getting into the house due to the terrible condition of the locks on the doors. One toilet seat was cracked and pinched when you used it- only toilet on the main floor, of course. House was not swept before we arrived and the floor was quite sandy. Two of the plastic chairs on the front porch had cracked rockers and made loud noises when used. No dish towels at all. Enjoyed our stay at the Channel marker,perfect house for my family.
First the good: I was kept well informed about the rental and expectations via email on a regular basis. It was easy to book the rental. When we had a plumbing issue, a plumber came to the unit and resolved the issue within a very short amount of time. Now the not so good: When I stopped to pick up the packet with keys and passes, the receptionist was rather rude and obviously not happy to see me at 4:50 in the afternoon. Your staff there was very friendly and upbeat. I stayed in Sea-Cluded in Serenity Point. This was my first time renting from you and my first time in Serenity Point. I have been coming to different parts of Topsail my entire life every year. The unit was superbly furnished. There was never a time I felt there was something I needed. I really appreciated the fact that linens were standard for the unit. Nice not having to bring my own. The care bag with soaps etc. was a great touch. I now have a new realtor for next year! Awesome Experience!
picking out the house and check-in was a breeze, agent was very helpful and assisted in picking out the right size home. Although we found things to be a little unkept at the house itself. Very cluttered under the house, microwave handle looked to have a had a quick fix with glue - which didn't hold, cleaners should have checked over the property for major dust - found on walls, ceilings and ledges. And the deck railing outside the main level bedroom had not been fixed - which was brought to your attention weeks ago when my ... read more
Check in and out was easy. Communication and updates were frequent and informative. Very pleased with customer service.

I seriously can't believe your agency is refusing to reimburse me $17 for a coffee maker that I had to purchase to replace a broken unit. It was 6:30 AM Sunday morning. Would you really have driven over a replacement unit by 8 AM that same day (the coffee was finally done by 8 after purchasing, cleaning the pot, etc.)? After a long day on the road Saturday, all I wanted was a pot of MY coffee to enjoy on the deck of the house.
