Worst Facial I have had – I scheduled a facial and was informed I would have a person named Pomila. She was pleasant and courteous. However, in clearing out blackheads she made my nose red which lasted for 3 days and she bruised the side of my head by my temple. This is actually painful to the touch. I have never had this happen in the past with a facial. I won't go back there. If you go for a facial and a green science peel you won't notice that it made any kind of difference.
Always a great experience! – I have always had a great experience at this salon. It is comfortable and everyone is very friendly. I always have my hair done by Kari Rosckowff and she is AMAZING!! I always get so many compliments after she has done my hair. She is so nice, listens to everything you want and makes sure you look fabulous when you leave. If you want to look hot, then she is the stylist for you!
Worst experience EVER in a salon – I don't even know where to start with this review. I recently went to this Salon to get a great haircut and be in a professional enviroment.....this was far from that. I had called and stated I would like to see a Senior Stylist for a haircut and asked who they recommended, they booked with with a male stylist, I believe his name was Luis. Tessa is the bomb! – I had a great experience with Tessa. She made my hair look absolutely fabulous. The people at the front were friendly, and the salon is very relaxing. I have high expectations for Aveda, and Centre met them. I would feel comfortable going to anyone there for my hair!
Centre Aveda Arvada=Beyond Horrible; Stay Away from Teall!!! – 10/2009 This was by far the worst salon experience of my life. I was running a few minutes late (the salon is located in a remote area of Arvada) and when I arrived I knew things were not off to a great start when I walked in and was literally invisible. Very happy with my stylist! – I have always had a great experience at this salon. They always offer water/tea/hand massage and have many options for facials, pedicures, massage, etc. I can only speak for my stylist (she's the only one I've used) but Kari Rosckowff is VERY good. She's edgy if that is what you are looking for and listens to what you are wanting to do with your hair. Threading & Facials by an Expert-BEST IN CO!!! – I've been Promila's client at this spa from the very beginning and I feel like the spa is running with her amazing friendly attitude, her patience w/clients & her awesome services such as threading, facial and pedicure. Promila won the editors choice award in 5280 magazine and she truely deserves more than just this award! Pretentious – Just terribly pretentious without any reason to be so. The stylists talk trash to each other while you're having your hair cut or colored, and if you ask for details (like what color base or strength of developer they're using) they won't tell you, like it's some big secret. They're OK at cuts and color, but nothing special. The attitude there is that they're an uptown Manhattan salon when they're far, far from it.
not the best cut in town – Aveda Spa - what a joke, had to wait for 20 min. for a haircut and then wait again while he finished up another customers color, - Luis needs to learn time management skills aka customer service, I was referred by a friend when I was in a jam and needed a cut when my regular stylist was on vacation ---friend said he was OK but be prepared to spend up to 2 hours in the salon for a cut -- front desk gals were not very helpful.
