Renewal policies – We had stayed in Center Oaks for about 9 months. We had signed a lease for 6 months. As per the terms we had to give them 1 month notice. The lease expired and then we were on month to month. No one from the staff informed us that we had to sign a new lease. Net net when we vacanted they took 2 months rent as per the lease breakage (owing to the first lease agreement) even though we were at month to month ! I have lived in these apartments for 1.5 years and I agree with all of the negatives. Be prepared to bring your wallet and if some showers at 4am be prepared to be awake. My job sends me out of town alot and this complex does not take debit/credit cards which to me is unheard of. I was sent out of town on business on month when my rent was due I called them and asked them to please take my debit card for the rent so I wouldn't be charged late fees she told me just mail us the rent if it is postmarked by the 4th then we won't... read more

This place smells like a dump. The rent goes up every time you renew even if the new renters pay less. The managment charges unbeleivable fees for late payments...bring your wallet.The appatments are not up to date and need repair.i would not recommend this appartment to anyone unless you are use to living in a mexico.

Well maintained & friendly staff – I have lived at Centre Oaks for over 4 years & am very happy here. The staff is friendly, the maintenance is very thorough, and the grounds & landscaping is excellent. They are older apts. but kept in excellent shape. I have lived in 3 different apts. in the complex , I was happy with all of them & only moved because of increased(and decreased) pay. My air conditioner went out on me one hot Saturday night about 11pm, left a message on the complex's voice mail, the maintenence man showed up ... read more

paper thin walls – I lived at these apartments for only one lease term and even moved out before my lease was over to move into a new apt.--of course, my rent was paid in full. I didn't care if I lost money just to get out of this place. The walls are very, very paper thin, the floors creak really bad and are not level, and to top it all off, you don't have the friendliest neighbors.
