Dr. Handelman is a wonderful person and psychiatrist, and I am forever grateful to have been in his care. The team at CFIMH is phenomenal. Betty, Laura and Cassandra are welcoming, extremely efficient and overall lovely. Mike Stroh is hands down one of the best psychotherapists. I highly recommend this clinic for it's welcoming and inclusive space and top-knotch mental health care.
CAMH is OHIP-covered. I waited 8 Months to See Dr. Kenneth Handelman. I waited 1.5 hours to see a psychiatrist at CAMH. For your information, CAMH is a very welcoming place full of amazing Psychiatrists. Furthermore, I believe Dr. Kenneth Handelman is in belief that he is in somehow in someway superior compared to everyone else. There are other reviews throughout google on this psychiatrist that closely relate to my opinion on his distorted sense of self, therefore my opinion is not independent.
Dr. Handelman and his staff were very friendly and made me feel comfortable at all times. They were really patient with me when I needed extra info for my insurance and Dr. Handelman was very considerate of my ADHD when explaining my assessment results. I highly recommend this clinic.
