I went in for 2 procedures and staff in short stay are excellent!! I remember Lisa and Marie. After not getting the IV in my vein, a RN was immediately called to do the job!! Very professional.
Staff was pleasant enough, but apparently they will not do an MRI on a Sunday unless it's a life or death emergency. My husband had a torn bicep tendon and they suggested he stay overnight,get the MRI in the morning and then proceed with surgery with a doctor we never heard of before. Since we have insurance that we pay a percentage of cost, we opted not to do that. Instead, he checked himself out, and got an appointment with a specialist of our choosing. I went there with stomach pain worrying that it was my appendix and after seeing the doctor only twice in the 6.5 hours that I was there is ridiculous. I asked Dr. Lee what was wrong with me and she just said "you're fine". Alright so I would like to know if my organs are okay or my ultrasound. It was basically piling teeth to get an answer from her. Wonderful L&D and postpartum departments. I gave birth to my son 9 months ago and still rave about the care that I was given. I would recommend them to anyone! Thanks Centrastate!
I just had my baby girl via c section and in maternity Sheena and my anesthesiologist were amazing!! Sheena helped me remain calm and had such compassion. She really is an asset to csmc! Without her helping me in L and D and mother baby, I wouldn't know what to do. Mother baby Bolanle and Mary were great with my baby and myself as well. Very cheerful and always making sure everyone was feeling okay. These four women I trust and my experience with them was the best I have had here!!
